There are so many ways to make smoothies, it's hard to put it in a recipe as mine is rarely the same. But they all have the same basic things in. You can use different produce depending on your mood. Cucumber, spinach, kale and carrots are great veggies. Berries, apples, bananas and melons are great fruits to try. I like a sweeter smoothie in the afternoon, but a hearty protein and veggie filled smoothie to start the day
This is where I sneak in supplements to my family. I add a liquid vitamin B, Fish oil, probiotic powder and vitamin D. Between the nutrients in the veggies and fruit, and the supplements, I know we are covered for the day! In the morning I will often add protein powder as well, and it keeps me going till lunch.
