I love to start my day with a protein shake, and I love to fill it with super add-ons!
This is my afternoon “lighter” shake, but for a more filling breakfast shake, I also add spinach or kale, and frozen fruit. My freezer is always full of smoothie stuff. Can you believe if I peel apples for a recipe I even freeze the peel and throw them in smoothies! Or if I have some fruit or veg in the fridge that would not meet my kids high expectations (all it takes a small wrinkle or bruise), I cut it up, freeze and into a smoothie it goes!
